AMD recently stressed that it will give priority to launching two 7nm chip products at the end of this year, namely "Rome" and "Vega 20". Based on the AMD Zen 2 architecture, Rome is a veritable second-generation Zen (Zen+ is based on a 12nm transition product) and will be used in the second-generation EPYC Opteron processor.

The Vega 20 will be used on Radeon Instinct acceleration cards and Radeon Pro professional cards to serve AI/depth calculation related load scenarios with up to 32GB of HBM2 memory.
